When NeedToBreathe played at the Egyptian Theatre this past summer, I was lucky enough to get up close right in front of the stage during the performance. The show was insane and the atmosphere was electric throughout the whole thing, especially being right up front in the action. But my very favorite part was when they played the last song, one I had never heard before… The band unplugged all their equipment, put their mics away, and came and sat at the very front of the stage. They played the song completely acoustic with no mics, no amps, no speakers, just them… The band was directly in front of us, close enough to reach up and touch, and this beautiful song is what they played…
